Have you seen this replicated in many ways, on television dramas, in commercials, or even in movies?
Or has this personally happened to you?
Globalisation has allowed economy of many countries to flourish, allowing better living conditions and better lives for many civilians. Indeed, countries like China and even Singapore has benefited from Globalisation. People are no longer restricted to work in their own countries for an income. Globalisation of Economy has allowed many people from around the world to have the chance to work outside of their countries. However, the world has revolved due to globalisation and a dog-eat-dog kind of society emerged. Like this man in the cartoon here, many people around the world have lost their job to a better worker who is willing to be paid lower. Problems like getting retrenched and losing jobs and statuses overnight appeared. The effect of globalisation of economy has affected most people around the world, in a good and bad way.
